The E-board photoshoot this academic year took place on the streets of Providence. The idea behind the shoot was to photograph Brown students, in their everyday clothing, in places they might typically find themselves. However, the twist was that the clothes were put together in ways that one might not expect. In doing so we ask the spectator to reassess traditional pairings and norms to create something new out of the old. The name of the shoot suggests repetition or return to the old, but also implies something new and exciting. We want to inspire students to experiment with their wardrobes, find new ways of putting things together and in doing so, eliminate any demarcation of right and wrong.
